Razer Black Shark V2

JBL Quantum 200

Started with Black Shark this one has 7.1 surround sound 50-millimeter drivers memory foam cushions on the ear cups and this is made for PC PS4 Nintendo Switch and Xbox one and also mobile gaming just about anything that has a headphone jack. This also has a hyper clear cardioid microphone advanced passive noise cancellation so let’s go ahead and open it up and see what we’ve got looks like it has some kind of activation to get the 7.1 surround sound. It also comes with the travel pouch a nice green audio cable with pc adapter looks like the microphone is very similar to the more expensive USB version however it’s not detachable here on the left ear cup you’ve got your mute button and then your volume control which locks in the halfway position, the only downside is the audio cable is not removable. so you will like the design on this it’s just a really simple matte black finish and then just like the more expensive version. You get the slider here that are a little bit different than most gaming headsets nice touch how they have the green accents nice cushion there on the leather headband. Now these don’t fold flat but it looks like it’s gonna fit pretty much anybody’s head we mean this thing’s ginormous ear cups are memory foam but the covering is just a little different than what we are used to around the edges, it’s got a leatherette the material the part that pushes against your ear is almost like polyester material. We are not sure what to call that it looks nice though so overall the build quality on this is nice.

Now talk about the Quantum 200, with this headset you do get a headset that folds flat, which is way more important in my opinion you also get a little bit thicker earpads, which are covered in all leatherette material flipped a new mic which has a nice clickiness to it doesn’t seem to have as many positions as the razer microphone, but it feels more durable. You’ve also got more traditional sliders, a little bit different volume controls on the ear cup, the audio cable is not removable on this one as well but it is a braided cable versus the rubberized one for razer you can see the razor’s a little bit larger. But overall they’re fairly similar in size they’re both fairly lightweight as well so when it comes to the build quality and style both of these are good.

With gaming headsets, you won’t get many more features and we all knew this and in this case, the story is the same. Both headsets good in terms of sound quality and microphone quality but they don’t get many fancy features. With both of the headsets, you will get some primary features such as both to get mute function also they both come with a very important feature which is on the device control panel. But the Black Shark V2 gets an additional feature of voice commands which is a great addition.

Which is better!

Both of these headsets come with nearly the same price point. Also, both are very identical in terms of design and connectivity. But in terms of sound quality, the Razer Black Shark V2 is far better than the Quantum 200. On the other hand in terms of mic quality, the JBL Quantum 200 is far better than the Black Shark V2. So it is very up to you but we suggest you should go with the which one is better suited for your choices.
