Samsung Might Use Bing As The Default Search Engine On Their Phones

Google is in an uncomfortable situation. It seems that the ChatGPT language model still outperforms the Bard AI. Samsung may use Bing as the primary search engine on many smartphones.

ChatGPT is now a part of everyday life. Bing search engine uses artificial intelligence. Microsoft is adding its features to different products like Edge browser and SwiftKey keyboard on Android and iOS.

Google was late to the party. Bard AI model can be tested, but it’s not ready for commercial use like ChatGPT.

The New York Times reported that some employees are working on the Magi project, which combines artificial intelligence with the search engine. It answers coding questions and creates code upon request.

Google has 160 designers and engineers working on Magi. The workers of the company can try the language model now, and the beta for the public will begin in May. Google may share its research findings at the Google I/O 2023 conference. The first launch is to take place in the United States and will be limited to 1 million users.

Samsung may choose Bing over Google

Samsung thought about changing the default search engine on its devices. Google is the most popular search engine, but some people are also thinking about using Bing from Microsoft. Maybe it’s about new features in Bing Chat, which uses ChatGPT technology.
