We got a 6.67-inch Full HD plus IPS LCD panel on the POCOX2. There’s a cutout to the top for the two selfie cameras. The most important thing is, this display refreshes at the speed of 120 hertz. On the other side, we have smaller, 6.4-inch display again Full HD plus panel on the Realme 7 Pro. This one though happens to be AMOLED. It’s got a just single punch hole on the top left for the camera. But the fact that its AMOLED is positive and something that’s in Realme’s favour. However, when it comes to refreshing rate, its still 60 hertz. So here we have to choose between 120hertz and IPS LCD or 60hertz AMOLED.
When it comes to build quality, we have Gorilla Glass 5 protected glass sandwich design on the POCO X2. The 3D curved glass body here feels premium to hold in hand but it also happens to be a fingerprint and dust magnet. The weight too is a little bit on the higher side at 208g. And on the other though the Realme 7 Pro despite packing in the same 4500mah battery weighs about 25g lesser.

The Snapdragon 730G on POCOX2 might seem to have an advantage over the Snapdragon 720G and it actually does. But it’s not a huge difference. The Realme 7 Pro comes close at times. Numbers aside, for day-to-day usage, both phones are neck to neck. But the faster refresh rate, it does mean the POCO X2 feels better. No matter, whether you’re swiping to the menu or switching over the apps, it feels better. We have Adreno 618 GPU inside both of them. The POCO X2 seemingly has a clock speed advantage but that’s mostly more than offset actually. Because it has to push double the frame. If you’re gaming which supports a higher refresh rate, POCO X2 is the one which gives you better results.
In terms of software, we have MIUI on the POCO X2 and Realme UI on Realme 7 Pro. Both are built on the top of Android 10. MIUI does not have display ads on POCO, whereas with Realme UI you do get a display ads but there’s a one-click “kill” switch for it.
Talking about the Memory, Realme 7 Pro comes with 6 or 8 gigs of LPDDR 4X RAM packed with 128 gigs of UFS 2.1 Storage. As for the POCO X2, we’ve got 6GB RAM with 64 gigs of internal storage. The performance here is going to be a lot similar in both phones. But for gaming, POCO X2 works the best.

We have quad-camera setup at the back of both phones. Both phones have a 64-megapixel primary camera. With POCO X2 we have the Sony IMX 686 sensor paired with the f 1.89 lens. With the Realme 7 Pro, we have Sony IMX 682 paired with the f 1.8 lens.
Realme gets a dedicated tripod and starry Night Mode Both of which POCO X2 does not have. Talking about Ultra Wides, both phones have 8MP camera and it is very difficult to tell them apart. Now for the Last two sensors, we’ve got 2MP camera used for Macro and Portrait Photography.
There are a couple of extra-special video features in POCO X2,vlog-style shooting and macro video. There’s also this Portrait video Capture option which is pretty awesome especially at this price range. So overall, Cameras to be given to be Realme 7 Pro. The Primary camera here it’s stellar. Its a great Sony sensor and captures some good looking shots and overall it has a whole host of features that gives the camera on it.

With regards to battery, the POCO X2, it has the larger IPS screen and also runs at a higher refresh rate. So it is a little more battery consuming. Whereas Realme 7 Pro got a similar panel and a 60-hertz refresh rate. So it gets 5 to 10 per cent better performance with the battery life. As far as charging is concerned, POCO has got a very respectable 27-watt fast charger that can get it from zero to 100 in an hour. The Realme 7 pro though blows it out of the water. It has got a 65-watt of the charger and this can get from zero to hundred nearly in half of the time. So here, Realme 7 Pro wins.

We get fingerprints on both the phones for biometrics. It’s a side-mounted capacitive scanner on the POCO X2 whereas on Realme 7 Pro we get an under the display fingerprint scanner. Both phones have face unlock and they’re evenly quick. They’re also equipped with headphone jacks and have support for high-resolution audio. The Realme 7 Pro supports Dolby Atoms and stereos speakers into the mix. So while the Realme has the advantage when it comes to music the POCO X2 comes with an IR blaster up.
Which is better!
Poco X2 starts at $225 and Realme 7 Pro starts at $ 369.99. So what we actually getting for the extra is the AMOLED panel, double the storage, 65 Watt rapid fast charging, Stereo speakers and also a little more functionality with the camera. Realme 7 Pro is surely the better one when it comes to all these things combined.
