Design and Display

Polar Vantage V3: Sports Watches with AMOLED and Built-In Mapping
The Vantage V3 offers a new AMOLED screen and slightly curved Corning Gorilla glass
  • The Vantage V3 has a shiny new AMOLED touch screen. This means super-bright and clear displays.
  • Its screen size is bigger (1.4 inches) than the older model and has much better clarity.
  • The watch comes in a stylish 47 mm aluminum case. It’s slightly heavier than the old model, but the design is neat and sleek.
  • The watch has three big buttons on its side and a protective Corning Gorilla glass to keep scratches away.
  • You can swap out the watch straps easily without any tools. Plus, it comes in three cool colors: Night Black, Sky Blue, and Sunrise Apricot.

Sensors and Health Features

  • This watch has an upgraded GPS. The previous issue with accuracy seems fixed now.
  • The heart rate monitor got an update, which means it can measure your heart rate more precisely.
  • The Vantage V3 can check your blood oxygen level, especially when you’re sleeping.
  • Want to see your heart’s electrical activity? This watch has an ECG feature for that!
  • It also has a skin temperature sensor, which monitors your temperature nightly and compares it over a month.
  • With Polar’s new Elixir™ Biosensing Technology, the watch interprets a lot of health data. It’s not just for sports; it looks after your overall health too.

Mapping and Outdoor Features

  • For the first time, Polar has given this watch offline maps. You don’t need your phone close by to use them. These maps show contour lines and help you find new paths.
  • The watch has 32 GB of memory. That’s enough to store maps of large areas, like the whole of France.
  • The Vantage V3 guides you on your outdoor adventures. It shows you your route, helps you get back to the start, and even tells you when you’re going uphill or downhill.
  • Want to plan a new route? You can get routes from friends or apps and load them into your watch.

Sports Features

  • With over 150 sport profiles, this watch covers almost every sport you can think of.
  • It tells you about your training load, recovery status, and even suggests daily workouts based on your current fitness.
  • You can test your performance levels and track your progress with this watch.
  • While doing sports, the watch reminds you to eat and drink. Plus, it can talk to you about your pace and laps, so you don’t always have to look at it.

Amazing Health Monitoring

  • The Vantage V3 has a super new thermometer! It checks your skin temperature when you sleep and compares it to the past 28 nights. This helps spot sudden changes, which might mean you’re getting sick.
  • Want to know about your blood oxygen level when you sleep? This watch can do that. It makes sleep tracking even more detailed with its SleepWise and Sleep Plus Stages features.
  • Need a moment to relax? The watch’s Serene function offers guided breathing exercises. This can help you calm down and feel better.

Daily Activity Tracking

  • The watch keeps a count of your steps and how many calories you burn.
  • It also checks how much you’ve recovered from activities, your stress level, and more.
  • To keep you moving, the Vantage V3 sets personal goals for you and reminds you to reach them.

Super-Fast Processor

  • The Vantage V3 uses a processor that’s 2.3 times faster than the old one. This should make using the watch smoother and quicker. We’ll see how it does in our tests!

Long-lasting Battery

  • The watch’s battery can last up to 53 hours when you’re doing sports. And if you’re saving energy? It can go for a whopping 140 hours! That’s really long compared to some other fancy watches like the Fenix 7 Pro or EPix Pro 47.

Polar Vantage V3 What to Expect

The Polar Vantage V3 really impresses us! It’s way ahead of the V2 model, even though the V2 already had a lot of cool features. The new Vantage V3 now has a bright AMOLED screen and a map feature. Plus, with its strong training tools and new, sharper sensors, it matches, if not surpasses, other brands out there. We think it’s one of the top sports watches available.

Even though the watch is light, it seems great for athletic activities and outdoor adventures. But, a small heads-up: its water resistance might not be the best. And its aluminum case and Corning Gorilla glass might not be as tough as some watches made of steel or titanium with a sapphire screen. This model doesn’t meet the tough military standards.

What’s cool is, aside from sports features, it’s great for tracking your daily activities and health.

We’re curious to see if the new heart rate and GPS sensors are accurate. Don’t worry, we’ll test them out and let you know how they perform!
