Ozone EkhoX40 gaming headphones have a fairly affordable price, designed for users starting in gaming headphones, with a price that is around 35 USD.
Ozone is a Spanish brand born 4 years ago, focused on offering all kinds of gaming peripherals. In addition, it is the sponsor of the Vodafone Giants e-sports team, so it is common to see players with Ozone peripherals who need the most demanding products.
Razer already has a lot of experience in this world of sound and video games. In any Razer headphone review, we have done, we say the same, both ourselves and user opinions. Razer creates quality headsets designed for gaming, creating the best possible experience.

Ozone EkhoX40
With a fairly careful and current design, they are made mainly of plastic which gives them great lightness, reaching only 329 grams. In the upper part, we have a pad that provides the necessary comfort to not bother us in the least when wearing them. It features vertical regulators to increase the diameter of the headband and a rigid flip-up microphone.
The earpads completely cover the ears, although they are not completely isolating. It should be emphasized in this section, since as a positive point, by not producing encapsulation, we can perceive any sound from the outside, such as a call or the doorbell.
In addition, it has a volume regulator midway through the cable that connects to the headphones that will allow us to raise or lower the volume and even mute the microphone.
Razer Thresher
The Razer Thresher helmets are very comfortable, with a practical structure that manages to fit perfectly. Constructed foam padding with a metal frame, the suspension band is large yet comfortable to wear for hours. A design like this doesn’t even need any adjustment: just put the headphones on, make sure they are comfortably over the ears, and it will automatically adjust to your head.
On the other hand, in terms of colors and design, they show the intense aesthetic hallmarks of Razer; the Razer Thresher Ultimate helmets have a matt black and glossy green appearance. Headphone logos glow bright green during use, with a green plastic ring around it; the rest are black.
The Razer Thresher Ultimate is huge. It has comfortable leatherette ear cushions, with additional padding and carved grooves to make wearing glasses more comfortable. They are really capable of isolating us from outside noise, achieving great clarity and a good multimedia experience.
On the left side of the headphones, we have the volume control (which is the same for the general volume, as for the microphone).

Ozone Ekho X40
If we do not understand much about sound and our budget is quite limited, we will find affordable headphones where we are not going to notice acoustic deficiencies. However, if you want to enjoy a minimum of sound quality, you will understand that the budget will not allow this feature, taking into account that the design takes the great majority of importance.
It has a stereo sound with quite normal treble and bass and a medium that dirties the final sound that we perceive, making it difficult to enjoy music, but that in video games, we are not going to notice it too much.
The good thing about all this is that after a few minutes and if you do not try something of better quality, you will get used to it and not notice the acoustic deficiency.
A microphone with a length more than enough not to have it stuck to the face and bother us when using it. With a normal sensitivity, we will use it decently in VoIP applications such as Discord, Skype, and TeamSpeak, among others. It’s flip-up, and we have full control to mute it from the cable controls.
Razer Thresher 7.1
Dolby Headphone 7.1 technology- This technology means that we have the perfect headphones for console lovers. It achieves an enveloping sound and many details that will allow us to enter the game, becoming the real protagonists fully. The sounds will appear to come from any direction.
In addition, the Razer Thresher headsets also stand out for these details:
- LED light: This practical light is located on the microphone arm and will indicate the data transmission.
- Use with glasses: It has foam grooves to relieve the temples, so they are comfortable, even if we wear glasses.
- 50mm drivers: This indicates that it achieves a powerful audio level, with a great richness of tones.
- Signal-to-noise ratio: It has a signal-to-noise ratio of 55 dB.

- 3.5 jack in gold color improves conductivity and prevents metal oxidation with a cable length of 2.1 meters—more than enough to move with ease while connected to the PC or the console.
- Mini Jack adapter for sound and microphone output. We will only use it when we want to have the microphone operational.
Razer Thresher 7.1
The wireless connection is via Bluetooth. Calculate that you can move up to a maximum of 12 meters from the device to which it is connected. In the same way, they can be connected via a 3.5 jack cable.
Conclusion!
Ozone Ekho X40 is a starting range to the world of gaming headphones. Although, indeed, they do not have high-quality sound components, they do offer a decent minimum to use them and do not exert any discomfort when wearing them for hours since they do not close in our ears, but they remain with a certain slant. The brand offers us many more possibilities of headphones such as the Rage X40, Rage Z90 or Nuke PRO, having the Ekho X40 as a product-focused on the novice / initial consumer low budget. If there is something I would recommend these headphones for, it is because of the low price we can buy them and the sound output they have: a 3.5 mm jack.
Razer Thresher is one of the best headphones for gaming, especially if you decide to play on play or Xbox. The wireless system is costly, has basic features, and highlights the sound quality.
