Logitech G435 Lightweight Wireless Gaming Headset

Logitech G435 Lightweight Wireless Gaming Headset

Logitech’s newest headset, the G435, is designed specifically for younger users and women. All thanks to the combination of bold colors, freedom of use, high comfort, and more modest than usual housing dimensions. Today we will check how this combination works in practice, so lets check out the Logitech G435.

Comfortable for long gaming sessions

Logitech G435 comes to us in a box characteristic for the Logitech G brand, combining the already characteristic gray with the equally well-known blue shade. Inside, you will find a Lightspeed USB receiver the size of a traditional Pendrive, a sticker, a warranty card, and quite a long USB-A / USB-C cable only for charging because the set does not support wired mode.

However, when it comes to how the Logitech G435 is packaged, it is worth stopping for a longer time. The company’s latest product shows its commitment to reducing its negative impact on the environment. We can see a manifestation of this in the case of the cardboard itself, which clearly looks as if it was the fruit of recycling. Additionally, the headphones are wrapped in paper, not foil, and the cable ties are made of cardboard instead of plastic.

The Logitech G435 looks downright comical on my head and would probably cause me more problems in worse city districts after dark than it provided fun. However, bold colors, at least in my opinion, should match the tastes of younger people, but do not take my words for granted – it is too easy to find a missed gift here.

Colors cause the aforementioned impression of the Logitech G435’s cheesy, more modest sizes and ubiquitous plastic. The shells and the element that connects the headband to them are mainly made of matte, hard plastic, which is visually enhanced by this “slippery” one. The two-piece headband is decorated with a thin material with edges finished with a delicate stitch, the color of which refers to the earpieces made of delightful foam and material and the buttons themselves.

Speaking of which, Logitech chose to combine three of them on the back of the left earcup. So we have an on/off button with a functional diode, a two-level volume control button, and a button intended only for the microphone, but in practice also used to switch between Lightspeed and Bluetooth modes. A USB-C port complements the whole thing on the base and a pair of directional microphones in the form of long black gaps in the front, which are to “focus on our voice and ignore the noise from the surroundings.”

The buttons themselves work quite cheaply. They lack the certainty of a click and responsiveness, but at the same time, they do not get stuck and always react to our intentions, so you cannot complain about them. Logitech is also worth scolding for explaining the functions of these buttons to users because there are no instructions in the box on how to turn on the maximum volume limit mode or enter pairing mode.

The microphone button clearly plays a functional role here because it is also its longer combination with turning up and down that causes the activation and deactivation of the aforementioned limitation.

Although you may think that the cheesy feeling of the Logitech G435 is bad for the first few minutes. It is mainly due to the desire to keep the weight low, and voila, it was more than 165 grams. Combined with an airy headband and fabric earpieces, whose soft foam pleasantly wraps the area between the turbinates, embracing them completely, the Logitech G435 is very comfortable, and it is easy to forget that you are wearing them on your head.

The Logitech G435 was the first over-ear headphones for her that did not cause pain even after several hours of use. Despite the material upholstery of the foam, after some time, the earpieces warmed up to the degree that required a short “airing out.” However, the low weight of this model is its key advantage.

Moving on to the built-in battery, a single charge of the Logitech G435 corresponds to 18 hours announced by Logitech. Charging itself is also fast, so you don’t have to worry when you unload the G435 in a goofy situation.

Sound Quality

The Logitech G435 set is a great example of the book cover in the lead role. This model sounds great regardless of the selected mode and hardware, keeping the latency low, which was not present in both games and movies. The first headphones with a Bluetooth and Lightspeed module, the G435, as announced by the manufacturer, works great as an everyday companion connected to a computer and smartphone, between which can change the connection from briefly holding the microphone activation/deactivation button.

The G435 itself sounds very nice. On the one hand, they do not throw you to your knees. Still, on the other hand, many hours of fun with them pass without any complaints about the quality of the sound, whether while listening to music (they offer high dynamics and a good balance of tones with an emphasis on the midrange) or playing (good reproduction of sounds in space). Does the job). As the earcups provide almost no background noise isolation, the bass loses a bit of depth, but with entertaining, not too heavy music, the G435 does not lose much.

Conclusion!

Innovation and everything new costs money, and the Logitech G435 is indeed a great example of this. Their price reaches $ 79.99, we do not know the details of the official retail price at the moment.

This is evidently elevated by Logitech’s first combination of Bluetooth and Lightspeed in the case of a headset, an unusual design for younger customers, and a built-in battery.

The materials used, although they seem to be of low quality, allowed the company to cut a lot of weight, and thanks to the combination of an airy headband and pleasant earcups, the G435 model has become one of the most comfortable earphones models.
