iOS 16: How To Set Up A Dynamic Weather Lock Screen Wallpaper

The new iPhone series lock screen wallpapers include a number of useful features. However, there is one very specific and useful one that you have most likely not seen: dynamic weather wallpaper.

With the recent release of iOS 16, a new update to Apple’s operating system, great features have been added to the new iPhone 14. The depth effect on the lock screen, on the other hand, has been one of the most significant changes or additions.

The Multilayer Photo Effect, which Apple calls the Depth Effect, is a wallpaper tool that comes with iOS 16 Lock Screen customization.  Previously, there were few options for changing the wallpaper. You had to select a photo, and the date and time would appear on top, frequently masking out faces and other aspects of the image you liked.

This new feature now shows the wallpaper image in a way that changes all the time. This lets the user stand out and show up in front of the date and time. Simply put, it gives your lock screen wallpaper a 3D depth effect. You can also add various iOS 16 widgets to provide information at a glance.

We’re talking about a lock screen wallpaper that changes dynamically based on the current weather in your area. On the one hand, we will be able to free ourselves from the weather widget to make room for another, and the wallpaper will tell you what the weather is like in your area as soon as you pick up your iPhone.

We also offer preconfigured widgets in this “time sphere.” In the upper zone, we observe the local weather, and in the lower zone, we observe the temperature, weather conditions, air quality, and UV index. These widgets are configurable.

Your Lock Screen will thereafter display a weather animation that changes dynamically based on your location.
