Apple has added a strange feature to the public beta versions of iOS 16 and watchOS 9. This one lets you show the screen of your watch right on your iPhone. Do you want to find out how to do it? Here, we walk you through each step.

It’s not one of iOS 16 or watchOS 9’s most important new features, but it’s a very interesting one. Even though you decide how to use it, this is a function that has been made to make the system easier to use. So, if a person with a disability can’t control their Apple Watch, they can always use the mirroring function.

To accomplish this, the Apple Watch uses a modified version of AirPlay. In this way, you can see what is happening on the device screen. Make sure you meet the requirements before you try this. First, you need a series 6 or newer Apple Watch. The Apple Watch must be running the new watchOS 9, and your iPhone must be running iOS 16 or a later version.

Just as before, you can now control this using your watch. Everything you do on your watch will be reflected on the screen on your iPhone. However, you can also operate this with your iPhone.

You can simply touch the crown and drag it down or up. There is also a side button. with a short tap on the side button on the screen. Then you may use your finger to scroll up and down the screen to manipulate what’s on it. To open an app, tap on it. Everything functions as expected.

You could use the Watch App to do things like edit your watch faces, change colours, add complications, and so on. Even yet, the watch faces look to be somewhat small. Using Apple Watch mirroring may be a better choice.

Make sure that you have an Apple Watch Series 6 or later. Check that your operating systems are up to date. If it is still not working, such as the screen coming up but only displaying a spinning wheel in the centre and never connecting to the Apple Watch, make sure your Apple Watch is turned on. Check that it is unlocked.
