Urbanears Alby and Urbanears Luma both are budget-friendly earbuds and served in the market for entry-level buyers and we think this is a good attempt by Urbanears. Both of these earbuds have very good features as compared to the other brands selling their products at this price point. In both of these earbuds, there is a little price difference but in terms of features, they are very distinct. In terms of design, both earbuds are very identical and look very similar in style but then also look a little distinct from each other. Starting with the charging case both earbuds have the same charging case the only difference is that Urbanears Luma’s case gets a hand band with it. The charging case of both of the earbuds is very good in design and built and also fairly light in weight and compact size.
When we talk about the design of earbuds then they look very similar to each other except for some distinct design elements. Both earbuds are fairly light in weight and very good in terms of weight distribution. Also, both earbuds have good built quality and are very sturdy and durable in terms of design.
If we talk about fitting and comfort then both are good in terms of fitting and comfort but the Luma is much better than the Alby in terms of overall comfort. But in terms of fitting the Alby is much better than the Luma. Otherwise, both are very good in terms of design and you won’t any big issues regarding fitting and comfort from both these earbuds.

Both of the earbuds offer with touchpads so they both touch-sensitive and have a very good touch response which works quite well in this price range. The Urbanears Luma gets a wear detection sensor which is very useful and works quite well but unfortunately, it is not available in the Alby which is a bit disappointing.
Urbanears Alby gets two microphones whereas the Urbanears Luma gets four microphones, because of more number of microphones the Luma is very useful and works very well on phone calls. Unfortunately, both earbuds don’t offer the noise collection feature which is kind of weird. But both earbuds quite good at passive voice reduction. The Luma offers a very useful feature of wireless charging which is pretty cool and also works very well.

Urbanears Alby provides a battery overall battery life of 15 hours, 3 hours of battery life with the earbuds, and 12 hours of additional battery life with the charging case. On another hand, the Urbanears Luma provides a much better 25 hours of total battery life 5 hours of battery life with earbuds, and 20 hours of additional battery life with the charging case. Luma also offers the option of wireless charging.

Both earbuds work with Bluetooth 5.0 and use the hero sideline setup. Both earbuds a good 10m of Bluetooth range. They both don’t offer support to the Apty-X and only support to AAC and SBC. Also, both earbuds don’t offer support to NFC connectivity. But both earbuds have very good, stable, and solid connectivity and you won’t find any issues regarding the connectivity.
Which is better!
Price of both earbuds which have very little difference. So if your budget is less and wants earbuds with good sound quality at an entry-level price then should go for Urbanears Alby. But if you want better audio quality with a good microphone for calling and also a good battery life then we will suggest you increase your budget to go for Urbanears Luma.
