The is running with a 1080p 120 Hertz panel so this one first it’s really nice to see a 14-inch panel with high resolution. But we think more people are going to be interested in this one the 1080p 120-hertz display. Now, this is a relatively unique product because at this point in time there are no other 14-inch or smaller displays that have a high refresh rate like this and it is technically a 120 Hertz panel but it doesn’t feel right if something feels sluggish.

On this screen and if we had to guess it’s the response time there’s ghosting happening and we don’t blame Asus like they’re not the company that makes this screen right they went out there looked for a company that was making a display panel that could fit into this thing, and they tried to get a high refresh one probably worked with whatever they could get it’s better than a 60 Hertz screen that has this kind response time we would imagine but it’s not ideal.

Gigabyte Aero 15

The 15.6” 4K 60Hz AMOLED screen has a glossy finish comes calibrated out of the box and looks excellent. As usual with a glossy display, in a bright room reflections easily show up and can be distracting. The color gamut using the Spyder 5 Pro and got 100% of sRGB and 98% of AdobeRGB, very impressive results. At 100% brightness, the panel at 476 nits in the center, which is way above the usual 300 average, and with a crazy contrast ratio which is due to the nature of OLED technology. Basically, each pixel is lit individually, so no backlight is required meaning black can essentially be turned off pixels, giving extremely high contrast.

As a result of this, backlight bleed just isn’t a thing, a black screen would just mean all the pixels are off. There are some downsides with the screen though, while it’s amazing for content creators, it’s probably not the best choice for gaming due to the 60Hz refresh rate. While games will look great, at lower refresh rates tearing was more noticeable, for fast-paced games the 240Hz screen option would probably be beneficial.

The screen also uses pulse-width modulation, or PWM, to adjust brightness. According to the panel spec it flickers at 60Hz, it looked fine to the eyes. But it could cause eye strain for some people. Burn-in is an issue present with OLED screens, however, it generally takes a long time to develop but with the Aero, you will not notice any issues.

the XA model, so there’s an Intel i7-9750H CPU, 90 watts Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q graphics, 16GB of memory in dual channel, 15.6” 4K 60Hz OLED screen, and a 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD in one of the two available slots. For network connectivity, it’s got gigabit ethernet, 802.11ax WiFi, and Bluetooth 5. There are a few different configurations available, such as from GTX 1650 to RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics, 6 or 8 core CPUs, or an optional 240Hz screen for gamers. This new model of the Aero has quite a few nice improvements over the older models. Like previous Aero laptops, it’s mostly a solid metal build with a plastic trim around the edges.

It comes with all matte black, however, it’s also available in white. On the lid, we’ve got the Aero logo instead of the Gigabyte logo on the older model, with a subtle brushed finish towards the bottom. The interior is similar to most of the lid, all matte black, and overall it felt well built with no sharp edges or corners. Gigabyte list the weight as around 2kg or 4.4lb and mine was just over 2.2kg. Once we add the 230-watt power brick and cables the total rises up to 3.1kg

This laptop has an excellent performance like really good eight-core 16 threads it has incredible performance for multi-core applications. In Adobe Premiere for gaming, these are running a GTX 1660 TI Max-Q with pretty good performance. There is another variation that runs a 2060 Max-Q which is a little bit more expensive. But my initial impression when we first saw this was like we wish they’d put a more powerful GPU in here. But then you have to take into consideration size like these are so small this is a fourteen-inch screen.

It’s just it’s a small device we don’t think they could have put anything more powerful in here. While being able to cool it properly now because it’s a fourteen-inch screen your eyes took a little bit of time to get used to gaming on this thing. You will perfectly happy with the size we think the reduction in size and weight on this thing is worth that GPU trade-off for people that are looking for a smaller and or lighter gaming laptop.

Gigabyte Aero 15

Since you’d assume of a laptop among this sort of hardware, the Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED performs intelligently, both when working on productive apps and toward gaming. The latest RTX 2070 Super mobile GPU gives a better performance, and merge it with the latest 8-core Intel processor and you will receive an amazingly compelling laptop that can execute various responsibilities at once without further many difficulties. While the RTX line of GPUs remains principally gaming-oriented, there occur some productive improvements to them as well.

As an ‘RTX Studio’ laptop, the Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED gets Nvidia’s Studio drivers, preferably its game-geared ones, also these are harmonized for creative utilization, hence the likes the Adobe Premiere Pro, Redcine-X Pro, and moreover Autodesk work exceptionally great. While the RTX line of GPUs remains principally gaming-oriented, there occur some productive improvements to them as well.

On the right from the front, there are two more USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports, Type-C Thunderbolt 3 port, UHS-II SD card slot, power input.

The two speakers are found with both of these devices, they sound alright, clear at higher volumes but a bit tinny with minimal bass. Here’s what we’re looking at while playing music at maximum volume, and the Latencymon results could have been better.
