If you’re considering a budget tablet either for yourself or as a gift and you were looking at the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 or the iPad 10.2 7th Gen. We’re gonna see how these budget devices stack up against each other and find out which is right for you let’s get started. Let’s start off with the price The 2019 Tab A is currently $230 on Amazon but sales can drop it as low as $180 and the iPad is currently $300 on Amazon but again you will find this tablet on sale a lot at a price point of $250.
When looking at the tablets themselves you’ll find two very similar looking devices with volume controls, power button, headphone jack, charging port, and dual speaker setup on the bottom.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1
Apple iPad 10.2
Looks and feels a lot like a more expensive tablet
When it comes to design these two devices are different from each other but they share lots of similarities for example each tablet still has an audio jack and they both have pretty good rear and front-facing cameras along with some buttons located on the side of the tablets. The Galaxy Tab A has a beautiful 10.1 inch IPS display with 1920 by 1200 pixel resolution with thin bezels.
iPad does also have a beautiful screen but this time we have a 10.2 Retina display the resolution here is 2160 by 1620 pixels so slightly higher than the Tab A 10.1. The bezels are thicker than the ones found on the Galaxy Tab A, overall you do get a wider display.
