The Arctis pro maintains sleek elegance it’s classy enough that we would even wear them outside of our gaming den proudly and we can’t say that about most gaming headsets. The build is just as good as it looks too you’ve got a nice aluminum frame giving you that premium feel. The steel headband’s got a nice gunmetal finish and you’ll find some cushy padding on the underside and the headband design that contours over your head for a perfect snug fit.

The ear cups swivel and feature removable magnetic plates so you can swap out different styles and there are some pretty funky ones to choose from. As well as customizable RGB lights on both cups because they look so great we took these cans outside that’s after pushing the retractable mic into the left ear cup. All the buttons and controls are located on the back of the left ear cup and being a righty it took a bit to start using our left hand to access the controls. But it did allow us to keep our right hand on the mouse in the middle of the game.

The super flexible and very portable design ideas and if you’re looking at them from afar you probably really couldn’t even tell the difference between these and the M50S except for the little M50X badge on the side of these headphones. But really the biggest difference here between the M50X and the M50 is actually the cabling so you might have noticed these guys come out of the box with no cables attached to them at all.

There’s a three and a half millimeter headphone jack empty on the left-hand side to plug in some audio and the box comes with three different cables included and this may actually be the reason for the slightly higher price so you get a 1.2-meter straight cable a three-meter straight cable which is actually nine feet really long and a 1.2-meter coiled cable. So you pick the cable you want to use grab the end that has a line on it match it up with the left-hand side of the headphones.
