Philips Fidelio X2HR
The Philips Fidelio X2HR does an excellent pair of wired open-back headphones for clinical music listening. Their sound profile is pretty much good for neutral music listening and you can fairly enjoy the sound quality of these headphones. Because of wired connectivity, they are very lightweight. They are only served with only one color option which is black color.
Sennheiser HD 800S
The Sennheiser HD 800 S remains flatware and an excellent pair of headphones that gets an expected and ideal balance within precision and pleasure within its sound profile. Philips Fidelio X2HR
Talking about the build quality, there’s some plastic in here somewhere but you have to look for it. The headband is steel bars covered in real leather inside is self-adjusting very generous breathable mesh pad. The outside of the cuffs a beautiful aluminium with the signature printing around the wire mesh. On the outer side it’s gorgeous they are pretty heavy at about 395 grams. But the way the design makes them pretty comfortable they spread that weight around they’re really large as well they look pretty big on the head but they fit pretty well. The earcups are circular memory foam covered with floors similar to what we saw in the case you will love this. The outer diameter is 107 millimetres inside 55 millimetres. They do get a little warm but nothing crazy and due to the density of that foam they do a really good job of keeping that base.
Sennheiser HD 800S
They’re really quite big they aren’t really heavy but they are rather huge. The ear cup goes all the way around your ear but that’s good because they don’t touch your ear. So you can wear them for really long periods of time and you will really notice they are made of plastic for most parts. But they don’t really feel cheap which is good we really wouldn’t expect anything less. But the headband is very comfortable and supportive and the cables are removable. Overall front of build quality these are great. The earcups are good and feel great while you wear them.Â

Philips Fidelio X2HR
Let’s get into sound quality because this is not an analytic transparent headphone that’s what you want. This is smooth with highs that just kind of zip in from the outer reaches of space and land right on your eardrum vocals feel textured they sparkle there’s nothing offensive here. This is mild bass is low. If you like EDM hip-hop R&B this is it at this price point sound stage is big mids are recessed. This is a headphone you sound really Spacey and pretty good. The noise cancellation of this headphone adds a lot of artefacts to the audio both versions really for me with this mic whether it’s on or off tend to make my voice sound pretty nasally but your experience may differ depending on your hardware.
Sennheiser HD 800S
These sound incredible it’s really impossible to describe and show what a pair of headphones sound like especially since sound is so subjective what sounds good to you may not sound good to everybody. But really anyway you slice it these headphones are crisp clear have a great dynamic range you can pump up the volume pretty much as loud as you want no matter what you throw at these they’re going to sound really good the crispness and clarity is what’s really impressive. They don’t come with noise cancellation and you may be disappointed because of that.
