This Ultrabook is clearly distinguished in terms of connectivity by its integration (optional) of 5G (Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RV) or 4G (Intel XMM7360 LTE Advanced CAT 9) module.
Also included is a Wi-Fi ax (2×2, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201) and Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI 1.4b, Headphone / Microphone combo audio, 2 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 4 Type-C Thunderbolt 4 . A SmartCard reader is optional.
As an option, a 720p infrared webcam is provided for authentication by facial recognition via Windows Hello technology, also used for authentication by biometric recognition with the optional fingerprint reader.
The HP ZBook Firefly 15 G8 connection is also positioned differently, and we note that the video output adopts the HDMI 2.0b standard.
Thunderbolt 4 is a hardware interface that uses the reversible USB Type-C connector. Double the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 4 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb / s when used with compatible devices.
